Arlene Thomas, MS LMFT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington. I earned a Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Northwest University.
My experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with issues such as: grief, loss, adjustment, depression, anxiety, premarital, and marital issues.
I work from a "systemic" point of view that considers an individual part of a greater system: the family. I approach therapy from a holistic viewpoint looking at issues from a bio-psychosocial spiritual perspective.
I served on the Board of Trustees for the Northwest Infant Survival Alliance: SIDS Foundation of Washington. I continue to work with the organization both professionally and personally. As a mother who lost my firstborn son to SIDS, I have a special interest in supporting parents who have lost children, working with them to discover ways of moving forward in life while continuing to honor their children.
